Many more counties that were unavailable on the beta site over Christmas, including Lancashire, Essex, Kent, Yorkshire (West Riding), Nottinghamshire and Herefordshire are now available. They say they will continue to scan the remainder of the census and will make the remaining counties [...]

The Church of Latter Day Saints, also commonly known as the Mormons, have recently released  a “Pilot” website for seaching births, marriage, deaths, censuses and many other records. The greater part of the project is currently based on US data but hopefully in the near future more non-US information will be added.

A beta version of the 1911 UK census site is up and running at FindMyPast‘s website, unfortunately only  Staffordshire and London are available at the moment.
I’ve just downloaded a couple of my Staffs families. The searching is free but you have to pay 10 Credits to view a Transcript of the Household or 30 Credits [...]
